Tipping with Plastic, Dip Jar Provides a Tip Jar for Credit Cards

With the public’s increased use of credit cards for everyday small item purchases came a slight decrease in the number of tips received by those working in select service industries.  While waiters, bartenders, and taxi drivers can typically except a higher tip on purchases and payments made through credit cards when compared to cash, the pure number of tips received by baristas has decreased especially when no receipt is given.  In an effort to modernize tipping in places where a 5 dollar coffee requires nothing more than a swipe of a card, the Dip Jar seeks to make tipping just as easy.  A more indepth look at the Dip Jar can be found here.
